Wedding Reception Late Night Snack Ideas

Ending the evening with a late night snack of some sort is a perfect way to say thank-you to your guests and sending them on their way with a full belly! You don’t have to dig deep into your pockets either for this expense and it’s another way to make your wedding even more unique.

Carnival Foods

Roll in an ice cream truck to serve all your old-school favorite cold treats. Or bring in all your favorite carnival snack items like hot dogs, pretzels with mustard, cotton candy, candy apples, hot buttered popcorn, snow cones or funnel cakes with powdered sugar.

Breakfast Items

What a perfect way to end the evening than with breakfast! Bring in your favorite donut shop, serve a waffle bar with all the spreads, bring in bagels with various kinds of cream cheese or go as simple as strawberry or cinnamon pop tarts!

Bring on the Grease

Nothing taste better after a 4-hour open bar than some Giordanno’s, Lou Malnati’s or Gino’s East pizzas with various toppings! Or serve something a little more unique like mini grilled cheeses with tomato soup, platefuls of mini sliders and buffalo wings. Do something even more unexpected like bringing in McDonalds, Taco Bell or White Castle.

Homemade Treats

Forego the junk food and grease for some nice homemade treats from Aunt Sally, Grandma Mae or even Mom. Go with rice krispie treats, chocolate chip cookies, fudge brownies, homemade peanut brittle, or lemon bars.

So many different ways to provide late night snacks – good luck deciding!
