Ashley & Joe’s Wedding – 9/13/14

Ashley and Joe were married on September 13th, 2014 at the Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton and it was such a delightful wedding to be a part of. We were hired for day of coordination and worked with them closely the month leading up to their wedding fine tuning all the wedding details. One of Ashley’s biggest worries was having a friend (non-experienced) officiate their wedding. She wanted our close guidance at the rehearsal to ensure that he was doing everything accordingly. Upon meeting their bridal party and particularly meeting their friend, the officiant, we knew they were in good hands and had nothing to worry about. Their bridal party was one of the most attentive parties we’ve worked with and the officiant took his job very seriously! The wedding day could not have been more perfect for an outdoor ceremony and their friend did an amazing job marrying them. Prior to the wedding, Joe emailed Audra and I separately to arrange a private, first dance with Ashley at their reception, prior to any guests seeing the room. That, I have to say, was one of the most romantic gestures I’ve seen at any of our weddings. Tears were shed and I do believe Ashley fell a bit more in love with Joe that moment. The day was captured through the lenses of Dawn E. Roscoe Photography and the guests danced to the tunes from Style Matter DJs. The rest of the evening went perfectly and, as always, we were honored to have been included in this wedding.
